"The MOST AMAZING wine/liqueur store in Manhattan! I accidentally discovered it and keep coming back. The owner is amazing as well as the staff - they are all very accommodating, KNOW their products and always suggest me good bottles based on what I want. I work in a client industry and appreciate the sincere and thoughtful approach. They always pack my bottles beautifully if I need it to be a gift (and not the cheap looking wrapping paper but a box - it’s a small gesture but goes a looong way)! I love to support their business and that’s the only place I go to now. Thank you for being such a wonderful addition to the community!"

"Looking for some good bourbon to take back home to Germany, we definitely came to the right place. The owner knows what he´s talking about and has some awesome barrel picks in store. We got to taste a few and had a nice chat. They even wrapped the bottles already for proper and safe transportation. Thanks a lot! We will come back."

"We only briefly popped in , and welcomed by a very friendly and welcoming man .
The selection of drinks was very impressive, and prices from low right up to luxury.
They have so much choice its almost impossible to leave with out a perfect choice of drink.
Definitely worth popping in and having a browse."

"We were visiting NYC and decided to stop in to look for a bottle of wine. After experiencing sticker shock from the high prices for food and beverages here, I expected to pay a lot more than I pay back home in Nashville. WRONG! I bought a nice bottle of red wine for the same price that I would expect to pay back home. Additionally, the attention and service we received was outstanding. When I mentioned that we were staying in a hotel, the gentleman that was helping us found some glasses and included those with the wine. A++++++ is all I have to say about Shumers Wine & Liquor.....That and thank you."

"Friendly, knowledgeable staff. In the whiskey section the store selections were top notch….i went the first time during lunch and it was jammed."
