"We were visiting NYC and decided to stop in to look for a bottle of wine. After experiencing sticker shock from the high prices for food and beverages here, I expected to pay a lot more than I pay back home in Nashville. WRONG! I bought a nice bottle of red wine for the same price that I would expect to pay back home. Additionally, the attention and service we received was outstanding. When I mentioned that we were staying in a hotel, the gentleman that was helping us found some glasses and included those with the wine. A++++++ is all I have to say about Shumers Wine & Liquor.....That and thank you."

"Friendly, knowledgeable staff. In the whiskey section the store selections were top notch….i went the first time during lunch and it was jammed."

"Honestly I thought this was just going to be another liquor store. Nope three gentlemen were in there and nice as can be. They said there is usually a dog there but we didn't get them see them today. They also gift wrapped our purchase for us. I can't compliment this place and the people there enough, well worth the stop. Also it was nice and cold inside"
